The Hong Kong Catholic Diocesan Schools Council held its Spring Festival gathering and educational seminar on 14th February. The event was attended by Cardinal Stephen Chow Sau-yan, Bishop of the Hong Kong Diocese, Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Ha Chi-shing, Vicar General Joseph CHAN Wing-chiu, Mr. Kung Kwong-pui, Episcopal Delegate for Education, members of the Education Office and the Central Management Committee for Diocesan Schools, representatives of Caritas and religious orders, as well as supervisors and principals of diocesan secondary schools, primary schools, and kindergartens.

The keynote speaker, Mr. Mak Yun-sau, addressed the theme “Cultivating Positive Qualities in Students” and reminded education professionals to first cultivate themselves before nurturing their students. He inspired the attendees to persevere and to enhance themselves with an open mindset and positive thinking.

The gathering concluded successfully with blessings from the Cardinal and other clergy members.
